Quotation about relationships from Person X

Members

Members are the heart of Great Old Broads for Wilderness. With every mile you hike, policy comment you write, and friendship you grow, you help public lands thrive for good.

While we’re largely a movement of older women, everyone is welcome–if you love public lands, you have a home here. Please join us!

Broadbands

Most members of Great Old Broads for Wilderness belong to local chapters that we call “Broadbands.” Broadbands offer fun, friendship, and a sense of purpose.

Each Broadband has its own interests and calendar of activities. New Broadbands are forming all the time, and staff are available to help you find your local chapter or start your own.

Committees

Member committees offer places for scientists, traditional ecological experts, land managers, and other lovers of the land to guide the organization’s work.

Serving on a committee is a great way to get to know people across the country. Learn more about whether a committee is right for you.
